Recently I had my last day of high school at Democracy Prep at the Agassi Campus, and looking back on all four years of blood, sweat, and tears, I found that being a “charter school kid” consisted of being socially aware, being held to higher standards as a result of the rigorous academics, and being part of a tight-knit community.

Charter Schools Changed My Life: From Newark to College
