Ascent Classical Academies is a growing K-12 classical school network based in Colorado. Our schools offer an American Classical Education based on the Core Knowledge framework and scope and sequence developed by the Barney Charter School Initiative of Hillsdale College. Ascent Classical schools currently serve approximately 1,500 students in K-12 campuses located in the Denver and Fort Collins areas of Colorado, with significant expansion planned throughout Colorado and beyond. Our schools offer a well-rounded liberal arts and classical education grounded in virtue and supporting the ideas and philosophy behind the American Founding.

Ascent Classical Academies is currently seeking fellows who wish to grow into classical school leaders as headmasters, assistant headmasters, deans of academics, or campus operations directors, who share a passion for our mission to grow the classical education movement and to play a key role in significant expansion throughout Colorado and the Western states.

Applications are now open for one-year paid fellowships for school leadership positions (Headmaster, Assistant Headmaster, Dean of Academics, Dean of Students, Directors of Operations, and other leadership positions) during the 2022-2023 school year, with the potential for a leadership role starting with the 2023-2024 school year. For academic roles, fellows will likely teach one to two classes during the first semester while also receiving coaching and development in the areas of school leadership in their interest or strength. Successful fellows may go on to serve in existing schools if a position becomes available (currently in the Denver and southeast Ft. Collins areas of Colorado) or future schools (currently planned for additional areas in the Denver and Fort Collins metro areas; and the Western Slope, Colorado) beginning with the 2023-2024 school year and beyond.
