SUMMARY: The Marketing Specialist upholds the efficient operation of the school’s marketing
efforts by supporting various acquisition marketing initiatives. To be successful in this role,
hands-on experience with web analytics tools, the ability to work collaboratively with others,
and the ability to turn creative ideas into effective marketing projects is essential.
The Marketing Specialist will assist the Communications and Public Relations Department in
building and maintaining a strong, consistent brand through a wide range of online and offline
marketing channels.

• Develop, execute, analyze, and optimize direct marketing campaigns and materials to

• Track and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns
• Participate in the development and oversight of the marketing budget and forecasting
• Interpret and utilize data and metrics to strategically develop recommendations
• Articulate and champion marketing best practices and standards across channels using
data analytics
• Provide campaign optimization across marketing channels using data-based decisionmaking
• Test and implement innovative marketing strategies and tactics

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field AND
• Minimum of four (2) years of digital marketing experience OR
• Equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ability to forge strong relationships to encourage cross-functional collaboration with
internal and external stakeholders
• Ability to problem-solve, execute, and deliver complex messages to diverse audiences
• Possesses a deep understanding of direct response marketing and analytics
• Possesses a deep understanding of SEM, SEO, Paid Social, Email, Display and other
digital marketing channels
• Develops strategies and presents recommendations to optimize ROI
• Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc) proficiency
• Google (Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Adwords, Business, etc.) proficiency
• Paid Social Media (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, etc.) proficiency
• Ability to pass required background check
• Embraces an ever-changing environment while simultaneously balancing multiple
projects with the ability to switch priorities and focus as needed
• Collaborative and team-oriented with exceptional organizational, project management,
written and oral communication skills
• Self-motivated with excellent time management skills and the ability to effectively
network and leverage internal and external resources
• Prior experience in the Education or Online Education industry

• This is a home-based position; however, travel will be required as necessary to various
school functions and as may be otherwise required.
