The Ohio Department of Education, Office of Community Schools, is seeking a data-driven, analytical and detail-oriented individual with proven experience in oversight, coordination and implementation of a web-based document management system. Major Responsibilities & Duties: Researches and analyzes Epicenter operations, systems and procedures: • Supports users and interface with other Ohio Department of Education (ODE) stakeholders and systems; • Provides training and support on Epicenter, as needed, to internal and external stakeholders and users including but not limited to password management and access and file set up; • Identifies problems and finds solutions or works with leadership to suggest resolutions and leads implementation of changes in collaboration with office leadership; • Collaborates with office leadership to maintain Epicenter system and reevaluate programs and procedures as necessary; • Ensures compliance with state, federal, agency and/or program rules and regulations; • Collects and maintains data; • Collaborates with the data management office and the IT teams regarding data to provide reports to staff; • Researches, writes and reviews reports as needed; • Conducts quality control studies on Epicenter operations, services or procedures (e.g., collaborates with office leadership to maintain content data and reevaluate programs and procedures as necessary); • Collects and compiles survey data; • Prepares comprehensive written and Epicenter-created reports summarizing findings and recommendations to increase agency efficiency and effectiveness; • Serves as the contact person for data and information requests from other ODE offices (e.g., Superintendent, Communications); • Serves as liaison with assigned data managers in the Office of Data Quality and Governance. Minimum Qualifications: Completion of undergraduate core program in business or public administration. Or 2 years of training or 2 years of experience in research & analysis & written documentation of findings. - Starting compensation for this position is $19.77 hourly/$41,122 annually with the opportunity to advance in pay after 6 months.
