The qualified candidate will lead an elementary school and innovative mixed grade middle school program and is a confident, academic leader who collaborates with faculty to increase student engagement and success. He or she is well versed in child development, current educational research and best practices, utilizes education as an instrument for social justice, and thrives in a strong school community.

The minimum requirements for this job are as follows:
Master’s Degree in Education, Public School Administration, Business Administration
New Mexico Public Education Administrators License
Successful experience as an elementary/secondary teacher and administrator

Demonstrated Experience in:
The management of the instructional programs
Setting short and long-range goals
Strategic planning
Supervising and providing direction for staff
Collaborative decision making
Management of special education caseload

Preferred Experience with Non-violent Communication, intra-cultural and social justice education, environmental education, and socio-emotional learning as a path to increased academic success.
