Reed Mitchell is the communications coordinator at the National Alliance for Public Charter Schools. She believes that educators benefit their students the most by seeing the whole child and that each student needs something different to be truly successful.
She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education at American University’s School of Education, with a concentration in fine art. She did her practicum teaching in fourth-grade at Bethesda Elementary and her student teaching in third-grade at Janney Elementary. Reed is originally from Massachusetts and currently resides in Virginia.
