Alanna Klein is the senior manager of media strategy for the National Alliance for Public Charter Schools. She handles media relations, digital strategy for Federal Appropriations, and supports State lobbying.
Previously, Alanna led media relations at Green Dot Public Schools, a national charter school network with 25 schools in California, Tennessee, and Texas. Before joining the public education sector, Alanna worked in the technology and entertainment fields.
In her free time, Alanna leads communications for Foster Nation, a volunteer-led non-profit who supports foster youth transitioning out of the system in Los Angeles, and volunteers at Los Angeles animal shelters. Alanna graduated from Cornell University with a degree in Art History and French and now lives in Los Angeles with her rescue dog, Remy.
