Yeah, the charter community is filled with celebrities.

Last year, Locke High in LA received a substantial amount of national attention because its staff voted to convert to a charter school. Reason TV has a great video about the process, check it out here.

PBS Nightly Business Report ran an interesting story on charters last night.

Alliance board member Fernando Zulueta makes a cameo. Some of the information is a bit outdated (there are over 4000 charters now, and closer to 10% of the schools have closed), but still interesting.
