We are looking for a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for the 2014-2015 school year for our two

campuses in Tucson, Arizona: the Academy of Math and Science and the Math and Science Success

Academy, as well as our campus in Phoenix, Arizona: the Academy of Math and Science Phoenix. We

are a group of highly successful college prep charter schools in Arizona who have achieved some of the

highest results in the state in the past 12 years.

We want dynamic, motivated, and intelligent teachers who:

• Demonstrates strong content knowledge

• Plans lessons with clear learning objectives and a process for assessing whether those

• Have demonstrated success in modifying instruction to the needs of diverse learners

• Have strong organizational and communication skills

• Hold a current AZ speech language pathology license and a valid Arizona Fingerprint

• Be experienced with superior field tested programs and methods such as Direct Instruction,

Success for All, Structured Cooperative Learning, Core Knowledge, Expeditionary Learning,

the Morningside Generative Model of Instruction, and possess applicable knowledge in

Instructional Design and highly interactive or innovative instructional methods requiring

active responses.
