Primary Function: Develop and implement an integrated, standards-based curriculum that utilizes constructivist
instructional methods in the appropriate subject matter and grade level. Create a healthy and safe learning
environment that demonstrates respect for all and supports student success. Communicate and partner effectively
with parents to support student learning. Evaluate student learning and adapt to evaluation data to continually
improve our academic program.

Minimum Qualifications:
(*) Bachelor’s Degree
(*) Valid CA Teaching Credential (grades K-6: multiple subject; grades 7-12: single subject in core subject)
(*) NCLB compliance
(*) TB Test clearance & DOJ finger printing clearance
(*) 3+ successful years teaching experience with a track record of advancing student achievement.
(*) Complete familiarity with the new CA Common Core State Standards.
(*) An enthusiasm for curriculum development to support a young and growing school program.

instructional methodology to meet the needs of diverse learners and what evidence you have to support this
approach (statement).
