Qualifications: Master’s Degree or above in a field related to educational performance evaluation.
Experience Preferred: 5 years’ experience in a charter school leadership position and/or experience with data analysis, system analysis, or a related evaluative experience. Experience as a charter school authorizer.
Performance Expectations: Supervise a district level monitoring team of all South Carolina Public Charter School District schools. This would include data preparation for charter school applications, overseeing federal programs staff, monitoring data for operational, financial, and academic performance for all district charter schools, and preparing and presenting data for charter schools in the renewal or closure process.
Starting salary range: $85,000 - $90,000 based on experience and qualifications
Starting date: Preferred starting date is June 1, 2014, but the required starting date is July 1, 2014
Interview Process: Five finalists will be selected for phone interviews and a task assessment. Three finalists will be brought in for a face-to-face team interview. The team will prioritize the finalists in a recommendation to the Superintendent.
