As the vice president of external growth for the National Alliance for Public Charter Schools, Kimberly oversees the development department and directs strategies to generate new funding streams.
Having a passion for children’s causes, she has raised over $62 million for the DC College Access Program, Children’s National Health System, and Fight For Children. Kimberly has a track record in securing transformational gifts, building and leading development programs, and training and partnering with board leadership and executive staff.
Prior to nonprofits, Kimberly’s experience included business development and brand marketing positions with AOL Time Warner and D.C. United. She began her career on Capitol Hill having worked for two U.S. Congressmen from Florida, her home state. She received her Bachelor’s degree from Florida State University and holds an MBA from The George Washington University.
Kimberly and her husband Tom live in Arlington, VA with their three children, Max, Molly, and Lucy. She sits on the board of directors of Monument Academy Public Charter School and serves as an Elder at Little Falls Presbyterian Church. What sparks joy? Sharing fellowship at church, hearing her kids laugh, paddle boarding, and hosting friends over the mintbucket.
